Arike Ogunbowale Leads Wings to Victory Over Lynx

Arike Ogunbowale Scores 25 As Wings Beat Lynx to End Seven-Game Winning Streak

Young Star Continues to Impress in Breakout Season

Arike Ogunbowale continued her breakout season on Tuesday night, leading the Dallas Wings to a 94-87 victory over the Minnesota Lynx. Ogunbowale scored 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-7 from three-point range. She also added five rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

The Wings snapped the Lynx's seven-game winning streak with the victory. Minnesota had been one of the hottest teams in the WNBA, but they were unable to keep pace with the Wings' high-powered offense.

Ogunbowale has been a key part of the Wings' success this season. The second-year guard is averaging 19.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. She is one of the most promising young players in the WNBA, and she is quickly becoming one of the league's best players.

Wings' High-Powered Offense Too Much for Lynx

The Wings' offense was clicking on all cylinders on Tuesday night. They shot 51.1% from the field and 40.0% from three-point range. Ogunbowale led the way, but she got plenty of help from her teammates.

  • Allisha Gray added 20 points and six rebounds.
  • Satou Sabally scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
  • Kayla Thornton chipped in with 14 points off the bench.

The Lynx were led by Napheesa Collier, who had 22 points and 10 rebounds. But Collier was the only Lynx player to score in double figures. The Wings' defense did a good job of limiting the rest of the Lynx's offense.

Wings Improve to 11-11 With Victory

The victory improved the Wings' record to 11-11 on the season. They are now in sixth place in the WNBA standings.

The Wings will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Los Angeles Sparks. The Sparks are one of the top teams in the WNBA, so it will be a tough test for the Wings.
